The glass transport shuttle type SHL will be used for loading and unloading of IG-lines, glass processing machinery or buffer systems like the Lisec ASM. The glass is transported on to the shuttle vertical and automatically determining the number of lites loaded onto the shuttle.
An innovative guiding system in conjunction with a rack and pinion drive ensures minimal friction and rolling resistance. Due to the selected components a torsion-free movement with highest stability can be guaranteed enabling speeds up to 300 m/min. During movement of the shuttle the back wall is moved to a bigger declination allowing the glass to be transported on the shuttle even during movement. A reduction in cycle time can be obtained.
