Fully-automated system to assemble and press double- and triple-glazed insulating glass units. The precise infeed positioning stop ensures the reliable assembly of the glass pangs. Pressing is carried out with simultaneous surface pressure via double-acting hydraulic cylinders. The glass pangs are pressed in a time- and pressure-controlled manner. The interior sides of the press are covered with felt and ensure that the pressing does not damage the edges.
