Assembly station for the manual installa-tion of spacer frames on glass sheets in a vertical arrangement. After feeding in a glass sheet as far as the reference point, the auxiliary stops for frame mounting will be adjusted either with a handwheel (possible inset measurement horizontal + vertical 0 - 30 mm) or automatically, depending on the machine version. The glass thickness will be adjusted automatically. The machine can also be equipped with shutters on the back wall for a much easier manual cleaning of the sheet’s back side, if necessary. When activating a switch, the shutters will roll up, giving the operator free access to the sheet’s back side.

At the same time anti-drop sa-fety devices will fold down from the front horizontal beam, which will prevent the sheet from tilting forward while it is cleaned.
