Automatic cutting machine for cutting PVB foils of different thicknesses and types for straight cuts and shapes. The base frame consists of a steel structure, whose entire table surface is constructed as a vacuum cushion. Fans below the table area provide for the necessary vacuum to suck the foil on to the special conveyor belt without any folds. A separate belt control prevents the conveyor belt to come off the roll.

The cutting bridge mounted on both sides integrates a multi-axis central cutter. A central torsion shaft integrated in the cutting bridge and driven by a high-precision motor gear unit ensures that the cutting bridge runs parallel. Special toothed wheels transmit the force from the cutting bridge to the rack and pinion of the table assembly located on both sides; this arrangement ensures that the cutting bridge moves especially smoothly and without any vibration.

The central cutting unit includes two tool holders that can be equipped with different cutting tools, depending on the foil thickness.
