VITRUM 2011: LISEC INSPIRED WITH THE NEW FIT.LINE

Very well received: the new FiT.Line for gas-filled double or triple I.G. units

From October 26 to 29 the whole flat glass industry looked at the international trade show VITRUM in Milano, Italy. With the new and compact insulating glass line FiT.Line, the all-rounder FiT.Cut and a cutting table for automated cutting of laminated glass shapes, Lisec presented several highlights and innovations.

The FiT.Line concept was very well received by over 2,500 visitors to the Lisec stand: the machine's configuration was designed as an all-in-one solution from the outset, it is very easy to operate and meets all modern insulating glass production needs. Three different and compact designs are available in two sizes. The FiT.Line is perfect for automated manufacturing of gas-filled and sealed double or triple insulating glass units. Also 3-sided stepped units and shapes are easy to process.
Numerous FiT.Line systems were sold already during the trade show. But the compact all-rounder FiT.Cut was at least as interesting as the FiT.Line to the international visitors. FiT.Cut is ideal for cutting straight and shaped cuts out of float glass from 3 to 12mm thickness.

Visitors were eager to see automated cutting of laminated glass shapes

A World First for Automated Cutting of Laminated Glass Shapes

Also the modified ESL/RS cutting table with linear drive for automatic cutting of shapes of laminated glass caused a stir. Thanks to the new Lisec approach it is now possible to automatically cut diagonals, radii and arches out of laminated glass. The new technology can be easily retrofitted to existing Lisec equipment and will allow faster and more flexible production processes.

A real crowd puller: the new quality scanner GPS.perfectscan for I.G. units

With other innovations from its portfolio, Lisec successfully asserted its dominance as a full-range supplier for the flat glass industry. With a completely new edge processing machine, frame bending systems for all types of spacer profiles available (including SWISSPACER), flexible spacer applicators, a new sophisticated sorting system and a laminated glass production line, Lisec was able once again to convince experts of its innovative strength, high quality and reliability. With the new quality scanner for insulating glass, GPS.perfectscan, Lisec again pointed the way ahead in the field of automation.

Although VITRUM probably saw more visitors in recent years, Lisec is very satisfied with the frequency of visitors to its stand and the numerous deals won during the show. Demand was strong in all areas.

Lisec attributes this success to its high-quality products and superior customer and after-sales support. Our customers know that Lisec is not only a machine supplier, but a reliable partner for many years.
