LISEC OFFERED TO GLASSTEC 2006 VISITORS MORE SERVICE THAN EVER BEFORE Again selected customers were invited to visit the Austrian premises by chartered jet liners. On a huge 2000 sqm exhibition space the world leading manufacturer of equipment for i.g-production and glass processing showed a part of their latest news. An automatic i.g.-line with flexible spacer applicator and a combined cutting center for float- and laminated glass were presented to the international top-managers (more than 54.000 visitors from 46 nations) by live demonstrations. However the show highlight was the new vertical twin-track waterjet cutting and edgeworking center. It can a.o. process all 4 sides of a jumbo sheet (6 x 3,21 meters) all around in one cycle, vertically. A work-piece example was the impressive glass entrance of the stand which was highly noticed by architects and designers. In order to enable the visitors to get a complete view about Lisec and their high-tech products (to show them all at the stand would have been beyond the scope of the exhibition) the market leader offered to interested visitors to go and see the high-tech centers in Austria by charter planes. By that Lisec achieved for all participants an even better and full scale information than by just visiting the show. At the machinery plant in Seitenstetten the visitors could see the professional standard of production, the assembling of machinery at highly specialized levels and the outstandingly high quality of Lisec products and services. Main attraction was again Lisec’s i.g.-production facility in Hausmening with its wide range of machinery and latest novelties. Especially the two new flat-bed tempering furnaces (a revolutionary Lisec development) were the center of interest. Tempered thin-glass with density and surface-tension never reached before as well as with perfect planimetry, i.e. without „rollerwaves“ took the eyes of the insiders. This presentation under real-time production conditions conveyed the latest state of the art in top-quality, high-precision and high-tech products for i.g.-production and glass processing. Besides a variety of software solutions for business, administration and production control Lisec Software presented a real hit. A truely practical solution for automatic recognition of glass flaws, scratches or other defects which would reduce the product quality or could even lead to guarantee claims. The new glass inspection system GPS.Perfectscan can even detect „batchmarks“ or metallic enclosures which are invisible for the human eye. Everybody who visited the facilities in Austria could see that Lisec runs a huge and unique research and development center which puts the company in a position to assign the technology direction in the field. And everybody could see himself the high potential for innovations and for developing new technologies for the world of glass to the benefit of each individual customer.
