Laminated- and float glass sheets in jumbo sizes can be cut automatically on one cutting center. Also their X-, Y- and trim cuts can be broken out automatically. Low-E coatings will be removed in the cutting area from both glass types by the combined cutting/edge deletion aggregate. The cutting and break-out device for sub-plates separates laminated glass with the proven thermo/mechanic process and float glass by the known mechanic prinziple both in one machine. Stationary break-out and ejecting robots for the trim cuts on all four sides of a float sheet. The 90 degree conveyor is equipped with two suction cup transportation units
in order to feed the second combined cutting and break-out robot with two sub-plates side by side. This increases the capacity of the cutting line by up to 100 % compared to other plants. Now the glass Y-subplates are cut and separated automatically in X-direction parallel side by side. Both laminated glass and float sheets are processed by the same device. Laser supported positioning for any Z- or shape cuts. Logic control system for the heating elements of the interlayer separating device.
