Glass Processing
The trademark Eurotherm insulating glass® describes thermal insulation glasses by LiSEC. The most important advantage of those glasses is the highly heat-insulating and the extremely thin precious metal coating. An inert gas filling in the interspace between the panes and an as optimal as possible distance between the panes additionally provide for a maximum thermal insulation. The general rule here is: the lower the „U-value“ the better the thermal insulation.
The coating is not only decisive for the thermal insulation it also ensures that the Eurotherm insulating glass® leads a large part of the solar radiation into the house even in winter where it is providing a free-of-charge contribution to the heating. Thus, Eurotherm insulating glass® makes passive solar gains. The general rule here is: the higher the „g-value“ the higher the passive solar gains.
Thermal insulation glasses are not only easy on the environment and the wallet they also increase the living comfort. Because the lower the „U-value“ the higher the temperature of the room-side pane surface – if it is cold outside. This reduces the draughts which are otherwise perceived as annoying.
Since then, the product insulating glass has developed so that it meets all essential requirements of buildings thanks to the latest technologies:
