LiSEC AEROFLAT as a game changer. To produce cost-effectively, traditional roller oven technology requires a well-defined sequence. Additionally, a lot of space is necessary to accommodate the glass for the daily production, and glass breakages entail long remake times and necessitate very precise planning. But with the LiSEC AEROFLAT, different glass thicknesses and glass types can be produced in the same batch. The changeover to a new glass thickness only takes 3 seconds. This innovation supports fast responses to glass breakages or missing glass and allows flexible, simple product planning with low space requirements.
Ideal for coated sheets
LiSEC AEROFLAT reduces the time requirement for coated glass, since float, white, structured and coated glass all have the same cycle time. The AEROFLAT air cushion system is particularly "gentle" on coatings, and moreover, with this technology contaminating elements (like dust, glass or metal fragments, etc.) cannot settle on the glass and destroy it (glass wastage).
No rollers – no roller waves, no white stripes, no roller pickups
The patented air cushion system eliminates the well-known problems of roller furnaces. The glass is transported on air cushions, which produces high quality products and eliminates glass wastage resulting from the above-mentioned problems. In addition, air cushions make it unnecessary to replace or clean rollers, which always requires a cold cleaning cycle and a production stop (furnace shut down, clean, startup) of approx. 2 days.
Easy to use
The simple, ingenious system makes the extensive knowledge (experience) and complex work usually required of roller furnace operators unnecessary. Operating the LiSEC AEROFLAT tempering furnace to produce glass with high and stable quality only requires 3 days of training. Due to this system, the furnace operator can also handle other machines that are full-automatically connected, like washing and cutting.
