The new Velocity Plus high-speed insulating glass line combines above-average quality with high output. This high-speed line impresses with a lightning-fast cycle time of approx. just 16 seconds for double insulating glass units in the dimension 900x600 mm with hot melt sealing.
HOW IS THE INSULATING GLASS LINE STRUCTURED?
The Velocity Plus consists of a washing machine with eight brushes, a quality scanner and an applicator for flexible spacers. Furthermore, this line has a corner sealing unit, inspection station, assembly and gas filling press, and hot melt sealing.
HOW DOES THE INSULATING GLASS LINE FOR RIGID SPACERS WORK?
The glass sheets are thoroughly cleaned and dried in the washing machine. The glass sheet is then checked for quality using a scanner. The highlight of this line is the VSA for applying the flexible spacer, because the double design of the vertical axis allows parallel operation during application. This significantly optimises the cycle time of the line. The gas filling press takes care of the assembly, the gas filling process and the pressing of the insulating glass units. At the end of the line, Hot-Melt sealing ensures the necessary stability and, above all, perfect corners.

WHAT ADVANTAGES DOES THE SYSTEM OFFER?
The washing machine with up to eight brushes and two hot water zones ensures perfect washing results. Damage and scratches in the glass can be detected immediately through the use of a quality scanner. The application heads can be optionally equipped with an additional material feed so that uninterrupted production is guaranteed even with different spacer widths.
The system delivers top performance thanks to the simultaneous assembly of two insulating glass units in the gas filling press.
