How is the spacer bending machine configured?
The system consists of a spacer magazine, a sawing unit for all materials, an insertion unit and the bending unit with profile transport. The profile magazine, with up to 15 slots, can be equipped with an automatic slot change.
How does bending the spacer frames work?
The LiSEC bending machines have a high degree of control intelligence. The correct spacer material is selected from the profile magazine according to the order sequence. The spacer profiles are transported into the bending machine and endlessly connected with an automatic plug-in device. During the in-feed process, the spacer profile is trimmed to length, cut and transferred from the infeed to the profile transport. This conveys the spacer profile to the bending device, which bends it into the desired frame geometry. During the bending process, the next spacer profile is already being cut to size and prepared. Modifiable processing formulas ensure the best bending results.

Using a heater, it is even possible to process very special profiles such as the Swisspacer Ultimate, the Multitech G and the TGI-Precision. The corner design can either be a corner with radius on the inside of the frame, or a corner without radius on the inside of the frame, i.e. with an exact 90° angle. Thanks to the uninterrupted bending process, the structure and properties of the backing film and the butyl flank remain unchanged.
The new saw unit can be used to cut aluminium, steel, stainless steel and plastic profiles, as well as hybrid profiles, with just a single saw blade. The rotational speed and direction are automatically adjusted to the respective material.
