LiSEC is setting new standards in successful and responsible corporate management. The company was named "Austria's Best Managed Company 2025" and took second place in the large companies category in Lower Austria at the prestigious Austria's Leading Companies (ALC) Award. These successes are the result of a clear strategy, innovative strength and a corporate culture that focuses on responsibility and team spirit. For LiSEC, this twofold success not only serves as recognition, but also as an incentive to continue shaping the future of the glass industry with both vision and passion.

Besides its 60th anniversary, in 2021 LiSEC has still another reason to celebrate:   Twice that year, the company received more than €30 million in monthly incoming orders.

In February 2021, LiSEC posted monthly incoming orders of more than €30 million – for the second time since the company's founding. With incoming orders of €34.5 million, the leading global innovator in technology for custom and complete solutions in flat glass processing and finishing set a new benchmark in August 2021, celebrating the highest monthly order intake in the company's history.

The Glass Forum, the new LiSEC Competence Center was opened in Hausmening on October 8th.  This glass processing plant comprises the latest LiSEC technologies for every step in the processing of glass on a floor space of 10.000 m²  – from the glass cutting and processing of edges to a sophisticated glass sheet logistics system and right up to the production of insulating glass and VSG (laminated safety glass) including tempering.

On August 17th, the founder and owner of the Lisec Group of Companies, Kommerzialrat Peter Lisec, passed away at the age of 73. 

LiSEC is awarded the Austrian Innovation State Prize for the revolutionary "flat-bed" tempering process. This patented glass tempering principle was developed by the in-house research center in Seitenstetten for which LiSEC provides approximately 8 % of the annual turnover.

Construction of a 5.000 m² large production hall including office building for the division innovation in Seitenstetten. The machinery of the glass processing plant in Hausmening is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and plants. In doing so, the focus is on the LiSEC tempering plant with the „flat-bed“ process. Meanwhile, the LiSEC Group employs more than 1.000 employees.

The research and development department and its highly qualified specialists for design engineering and electronics moves to the Seitenstetten plant and is at the same time converted into the company Inova - LiSEC Technologiezentrum GmbH.

Foundation of the LiSEC Maschinenbau (<i>machine engineering</i>) GmbH in Seitenstetten where more than 300 employees manufacture the entire machinery portfolio on a floor area of 27.000 m². This leaves enough space for the expansion of the insulating glass production, the research and development department and the entire administration at the Hausmening site. 

LiSEC has already 150 employees who, apart from the production of insulating glass, are already producing machines for the automatic manufacturing of this insulating glass on a larger scale. Plant II is constructed and the machine engineering department is expanded. From now on, the machine engineering is dominating and only approx. 10% of the total turnover arises from the glass processing.  

Conversion of the one-man business into a limited liability company.

The technology of the relatively new product "insulting glass" has advanced so far that an own system with an own trademark can be introduced and patented.  

Foundation of the Glastechnische Industrie PETER LISEC by Mr. Peter Lisec as a one-man business. Even then, the master craftsman’s shop worked according to own ideas. The scale of operations was mainly focused on the shaping and processing of acrylic sheets, the production of mirrors as well as on the cutting of glass. The company was continuously expanded.
