Your rights as the data subject
As the data subject, under the EU GDPR you have extensive rights to ensure greater transparency of the handling of your data. Your rights as a data subject are: the right of access to the personal data concerning you, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent at any time.
To exercise the above rights, you must contact us in person, by telephone or in writing at the (e-mail) address/telephone number listed above. Please note that we may only provide you with information if you are able to identify yourself.
If the processing of your personal data is based on a balancing of interests (e.g. direct marketing or data analysis), you may object to the processing at any time. When making such an objection, please tell us the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we normally would. In the case of data processing for direct marketing and data analysis purposes, we will stop the data processing.
If you have given us your consent to the processing of your personal data, you may also withdraw that consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent which we have carried out before the withdrawal of consent.
If you believe that the processing of your data contravenes data protection law or otherwise infringes your data protection rights, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (In Austria: Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Wien, E-Mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at, Telefon: +43 1 52 152-0).

This is technically necessary for the purpose of displaying our website to you and ensuring its stability and security.
Comments and posts
If you leave a comment or other post in our blog, your IP address will be stored. In this way, we intend to ensure traceability in the event that someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc). In such a case, we ourselves could be prosecuted for the comment or post, hence we are interested in the identity of the author. IP addresses are deleted after 12 months.

You can register on our website to receive our newsletter and mailings. In the newsletter and our mailings, we inform you about our company, upcoming events and trade fairs and our product ranges. In order to send you the newsletter, we need your name and e-mail address and your declaration of consent. For these purposes, we process your e-mail address as long as you do not withdraw your consent; we do not pass it on to third parties.
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the link provided in the e-mail. We will then immediately delete you from the mailing list.

Data erasure
To ensure optimal customer relations and on the basis of contractual obligations (potential warranty claims or compensation for damages), it is essential that we store data concerning you over a longer period of time, in order to best assist you in the event of any complaints (e.g. to be able to provide you with the correct replacement parts for your machine). We will delete your data once storage of the data is no longer required for the purpose of the processing and/or is no longer required by law.
We will store all personal data relevant to tax or accounting, i.e. books and records, as well as business correspondence for a minimum period of seven years.
Any data we need for purposes of asserting or defend a claim will be stored for the duration of the applicable limitation period.
Information about data transfers in third countries
As a matter of principle, the data processed by us are not transferred to recipients in third countries. If you have sent us a request for an offer in a specific country, data will not be transferred to another company of the LiSEC group outside of that country without your explicit consent.
If you provide us with your consent, your personal data will be transferred to and processed by group companies of the LISEC Holding GmbH or LISEC Austria GmbH (all listed under the following link) solely for the purpose of preparing a quotation for you and in order to contact you. If your personal data is transferred to a company of the LISEC group which has its seat outside the EU/EEA, it is possible that the laws of the respective third country do not provide an adequate level of protection for your personal data compared to the data protection laws of the EU/EEA countries. In this case your personal data will only be transferred if you have provided us with your explicit consent. We assure you that we handle your data in a diligent way and that the transfer within the group is done restrictively.
Integration of third party services and contents
We also use third-party content on our website, integrating content such as videos from YouTube, map content from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This requires disclosure of your IP address to the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third party providers"), because without this the content cannot be sent to your browser, and it is therefore required for presentation of the content. We endeavour to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely for content delivery purposes. However, we have no control over third parties storing your IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes, or using it in accordance with their privacy policy. Those policies may differ from our own. We assume no responsibility or liability for the processing of your personal data by the third-party providers of those websites.
