The LiSEC Group is not only committed to sustainable economic success, but also assumes social responsibility. This responsibility is exercised internally towards LiSEC employees, but also externally in the regional environment and towards society in general.
The LiSEC Group fulfils this responsibility, among other things, by financially supporting activities and projects that comply with the LiSEC CSR principles.
LiSEC distinguishes between sponsoring and donations.
Within the framework of sponsoring activities by means of monetary or in-kind donations or services, the LiSEC Group supports
on a voluntary basis and receives a consideration from the sponsor in return. These quid pro quos are defined transparently in individual agreements (in terms of scope, type and subject matter) with the sponsor in each case, and the support provided by LiSEC as part of the sponsorship must be clearly attributable to the public. A legal claim is excluded.
The LiSEC Group does not expect any consideration in return for a donation from the respective recipient.
Due to its history, the LiSEC Group is deeply rooted in the Mostviertel region and therefore supports activities and projects in the home communities of its locations (Seitenstetten, Hausmening) as well as in directly neighbouring communities. The main focus is on social and charitable projects as well as initiatives and organisations for the common good.
The LiSEC Group sees education and training in general, but especially for young people, as a central task of society and a critical success factor for the economy. Therefore, defined educational institutions, but also institutions, projects and activities that deal with this topic are supported with a focus or through special cooperations.
At the same time, it is important to give children and young people from problematic social or family backgrounds a chance and, as far as possible, a normal or good start in life. For this reason, charitable institutions and initiatives are also supported which aim to care for and accompany children and young people from problematic social and family backgrounds.
The LiSEC Group appreciates the commitment and dedication of the LiSEC employees. Therefore, initiatives and projects of the LiSEC staff with a focus on social or health issues are promoted. The focus is on community projects that are planned, organised and implemented by LiSEC employees across all divisions.
Requests for sponsorship / donations that are already supported by a competitor will not be supported as a matter of principle (exception: decision by the management of the LiSEC Group). This also applies to requests concerning other key topics of the LiSEC principles.
To apply for a LiSEC Group sponsorship or donation, the following points must be observed.
[1] A commitment on the part of the LiSEC Group can be revoked if reasons arise that necessitate the exclusion of donations or sponsorships and only become known afterwards or if good morals or values of the LiSEC Group are violated.
