Nadja Buchinger - HR Generalist
I take care of all matters relating to the development of our employees, such as planning an annual training and development programme, managing our eFront learning management system, pre- and onboarding, and employee appraisals. I am also responsible for various special topics, such as remuneration systems.
The service ethos in our HR department is particularly important to me, as our goal is to provide our employees with the best possible support.
My career at LiSEC:
I started my journey at LiSEC in the Legal and Human Resources department. One of my first major projects was to develop the training and development concept for LiSEC. That was the starting point for my move into human resources development. After that, I had the exciting task of setting up the recruitment department, which I was responsible for until I went on maternity leave. After my one-year maternity leave, I returned to work 23 hours a week, which made it easier for me to get back into the swing of things. I now work 28 hours a week and have taken on responsibility for human resources development. Since the beginning of January 2025, I have also been working as a compliance ambassador for selected areas in Austria. A particular highlight of my time at LiSEC was participating in the internal development programme Kolumbus. Here, I was able to deal intensively with important topics such as digitalisation, change management and strategy.
What I like about my job:
That it is very varied and lively, no two days are the same. 90% of my time is spent communicating with employees and I also have many online meetings. I can organise my time flexibly and in the evening I feel that I have done something meaningful.
What motivates me:
When I see that employees enjoy coming to our department and appreciate our support, which I often hear through positive feedback.
What I would particularly like to highlight at LiSEC is:
The corporate culture! When it matters, everyone pulls together, even if there wasn't always unanimous agreement beforehand.
And that I can always rely on my colleagues.
There are several departments in the company that take care of employees' concerns and are always willing to listen when there are problems.
My personal highlight at LiSEC:
When I was given the opportunity to set up the personnel development and recruiting department. The HR manager at the time gave me leeway and placed his trust in me. These departments still exist today and are constantly evolving, which is a great sense of achievement for me.
