Florian Länger – Automation Engineer
As an automation engineer, I program machines, test and simulate processes, and commission systems – from requirements and ideas to planning and programming to a fully functional machine.
In addition to programming skills, this job requires solution-oriented and structured thinking, a certain willingness to travel, and the ability to adapt to a varied working environment.
My career at LiSEC:
I started as an Automation Engineer in 2022 and have been working in this position ever since. The longer I am here, the more I can delve into the subject matter and the finer points of programming.
What I like about my job:
The variety between theoretical challenges and practical implementation. In my work, there are development phases where I program and simulate, and phases where I test directly on the machine. That's exactly what makes my work interesting.
What motivates me:
Above all, working with our robots, as they are more flexible than any other machine. The robot can be used universally and also programmed very individually. This gives me a lot of creative freedom in my work and also makes the work more complex.
What I would particularly like to highlight at LiSEC:
The great cooperation in our team, the flat hierarchy and the great flexitime offer.
My personal highlight at LiSEC:
The regular impulse nuggets and impulse lectures, which are presented by internal specialists from various departments on the one hand and by external experts on the other. These provide us with both technical input and content for personal development.
