When cutting laminated glass, local tension points in the glass are not uncommon and often cause incorrect breakage. By modifying suction cup mechanisms that hold the sheet during the breaking and separating process, tension in the glass is not enhanced. This is achieved via height compensation while gripping the sheet with a tolerance of just 1 mm. This has a positive effect on incorrect breakage, and this in turn results in less machine downtime.
Depending on the machine design, modification times for the systems require 2-4 days, since the lateral connections for each suction cup need to be replaced and adjusted individually.

Finally, the adjustment, settings, and recipe parameters are checked and corrected as needed. The suction cups themselves and other mechanisms are left in their original condition and do not produce any additional costs.
