LiSEC donates humanitarian goods for Ukraine
A big heart was shown last week by the employees of the Lower Austrian manufacturer of glass processing machines LiSEC, which offers innovative individual and complete solutions in the field of flat glass processing and finishing for its customers.
Under the motto "We are here to help", LiSEC staff and employees were able to hand over urgently needed aids and in-kind donations to support those affected in Ukraine. LiSEC itself also donated a generous amount, which was mainly invested in the provision of medical care.
Although a large willingness to donate was expected, any expectation was exceeded on that day. Oliver Pichler, CFO of LiSEC Group, is proud of the LiSEC team: "We would like to thank all our employees who actively helped from the organization in the run-up to the shipment. A total of 13 pallets of aid goods are now on their way to Ukraine!"
Donations from the LiSEC staff ranged from blankets, warm clothing, hygiene products, food and flashlights to baby items, power banks and bandages. In addition to that, the successful donation campaign of the Lisecians was supported by Hornbachner Transporte OG, which assisted LiSEC with the transport free of charge. "I heard about the initiative at LiSEC and I am glad to be able to contribute as well!", says Gernot Hornbachner.
