glasstec 2026: LiSEC draws a positive conclusion under the motto “65 years of experience – shaping the future”
Four intensive days at the trade fair, around 7,000 visitors at the LiSEC booth, engaging discussions and a consistently positive atmosphere: LiSEC looks back on a successful appearance at glasstec 2026 in Düsseldorf. Under the motto “65 years of experience – shaping the future”, LiSEC presented its comprehensive portfolio for flat glass processing from 20 to 23 October in Hall 17, Booth A64.
The focus of the trade fair appearance was on the interaction of machines, software and service throughout the entire value chain. Live demonstrations, technical discussions and personal exchanges made the LiSEC booth a meeting point for customers, partners and interested visitors from around the world throughout the four days of the trade fair.
The high number of visitors, the positive atmosphere at the booth and numerous incoming orders underlined the positive outcome of glasstec 2026. Beyond the technological highlights, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal discussions. The welcoming atmosphere provided the ideal setting to maintain existing contacts and establish new ones.
Machines and systems attracted great interest at the trade fair booth
A particular focus was on insulating glass production. LiSEC presented an insulating glass line that combined several new and further developments. One of the highlights was the newly developed TPA-B applicator for thermoplastic spacers, complemented by additional technologies and functions for process monitoring and quality assurance.
Automated logistics also played a central role. With IG-Sort, LiSEC showcased a solution for the wet sorting of insulating glass units. The system connects production and logistics processes and supports the controlled curing, further processing and order picking of the units.
Another eye-catcher at the trade fair booth was the LSP-A laser system for the vertical processing of glass surfaces. The system enables individual designs to be precisely lasered onto glass surfaces. The results produced live impressed numerous visitors to the booth.
A new innovative solution from LiSEC was presented to the public for the first time at glasstec 2026: the ASM-DS, a stationary buffering and sorting system with double-deck storage. The double-deck design creates additional storage space for glass sheets up to 1,300 mm high without requiring additional floor space. Double-deck modules can also be combined with existing single-deck modules and integrated into existing systems. The ASM-DS therefore combines a compact design with high storage capacity and supports the efficient use of available production space.
Together, the systems on display demonstrated the breadth of the LiSEC portfolio and brought modern flat glass processing to life directly at the trade fair booth.
Software as the connecting element
Alongside the machines, digital solutions were another key focus. With lis.prodplanning 4, LiSEC presented the next generation of production planning. A particular focus was on AI-supported Automatic Scheduling. With lis.rackmgmt 4, LiSEC also presented a solution for rack management.
LiSEC therefore focused not only on individual production steps, but particularly on the interaction between planning, production and logistics. The aim of the current software generation is to ensure a seamless flow of materials and information from order entry through to delivery.
Service throughout the entire lifecycle
The service portfolio was also comprehensively represented at glasstec. The focus was on LiSERV, Training, Preventive Maintenance, spare parts, LONGLiFE and the MyLiSEC customer portal. The solutions presented highlighted LiSEC’s commitment to supporting customers not only when investing in new systems, but throughout the entire lifecycle of their solutions.
The DSC-A mini-game, built by LiSEC apprentices, also provided a fun diversion at the booth, giving visitors the opportunity to put their skills to the test.
LiTROS presented at glasstec for the first time
LiTROS was also represented at glasstec 2026. As an independent brand, LiTROS presented its portfolio of machines and software for flat glass processing to an international professional audience. The trade fair provided the ideal opportunity to introduce the brand to a broad audience and showcase the LiTROS portfolio. The high level of interest was also reflected in several incoming orders, underlining the success of the trade fair appearance.
Celebrating 65 years of LiSEC together
glasstec 2026 also provided the perfect setting to celebrate a special milestone: 65 years of LiSEC. Under the anniversary motto “65 years of experience – shaping the future”, the trade fair appearance combined the company’s many years of experience with a forward-looking approach to the continued development of flat glass processing.
One of the highlights was the ceremonial cutting of the anniversary cake on Wednesday and Thursday directly at the LiSEC booth, where the company celebrated its 65th anniversary together with customers, partners and long-standing companions.
Personal interaction also took centre stage away from the exhibition grounds: on Wednesday, LiSEC invited customers to an event in Düsseldorf’s Old Town. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests had the opportunity to continue conversations from the trade fair booth and round off the day together.
Positive conclusion after four days at the trade fair
With numerous encounters, incoming orders and strong interest in the solutions presented, LiSEC draws a thoroughly positive conclusion from glasstec 2026. The impressive trade fair booth in Hall 17 clearly demonstrated what this year’s motto stands for: 65 years of experience provide the foundation for actively shaping the future of flat glass processing.
LiSEC would like to thank all visitors, customers, partners and the entire trade fair team for four intensive days in Düsseldorf and for making the trade fair appearance a joint success.
