LiSEC strengthens information security with ISO 27001

June 24, 2026

With ISO 27001 certification for information security management, LiSEC is taking another important step in the structured safeguarding of IT services and software processes. Following quality and environmental management, the protection of information, systems and services is now also clearly becoming a key focus.

ISO 27001: A structured framework for information security at LiSEC

With ISO 27001, LiSEC has introduced and successfully certified an internationally recognised management system for information security within the company. The standard ensures that risks are systematically identified, assessed and reduced through appropriate measures.

From the outset, LiSEC’s focus was not merely on fulfilling formal requirements. Rather, the priority was to embed the practical benefits of clearly structured processes and efficient workflows sustainably across the company and make them tangible for everyone involved, so that information security is consistently and transparently put into practice in everyday work.

Our goal was to establish information security as a lived process. ISO 27001 certification is the result of a strong team effort, for which I would like to express my sincere thanks to all colleagues involved. — Project Manager Sascha Prock

Greater security and reliability for customers and partners

At LiSEC, the scope of certification covers IT‑services as well as software engineering. This means that customers and partners benefit directly from stable, secure and available IT‑supported services, as well as from clearly defined software development processes.

One key benefit lies in service availability: Defined security measures and contingency plans significantly reduce the risk of prolonged outages. At the same time, controlled processes are in place for the secure handling of data processed or stored by LiSEC.

Clear processes and regular reviews in day-to-day work

In day-to-day work, ISO 27001 primarily means clear, documented processes that must be adhered to. These include regular reviews and spot checks of the existing security measures.

This is complemented by appropriate technical and organisational measures, as well as continuous monitoring in order to identify potential risks at an early stage and make adjustments where necessary.

Information security as part of company policy

Information security forms part of LiSEC’s company policy. ISO‑27001‑ certification confirms its high priority at management level. In addition to processes and technical measures, training sessions and e‑learning‑ formats also form part of embedding it within the company.

The aim is to create a shared awareness of information security and to ensure that the defined rules are applied consistently throughout day-to-day work. In this way, LiSEC creates a reliable basis for secure collaboration and stable digital services.
