Systems & Lines
The storage of large-format insulating glass units on shipping racks poses several challenges. Access to individual units is usually restricted, resulting in time-consuming relocation and an increased risk of breakage. Furthermore, rack storage makes subsequent inspection more difficult, as shipping and quality control cannot be carried out separately. The high space requirement in the dispatch area and lengthy search times when allocating racks also impair efficiency. Standard frames reach their limits in particular with shapes such as 4-sided steps or special geometries – customised solutions are therefore needed, which further increases the effort involved.
What makes the IG-Sort Prime unique?
The system offers unbeatable safety and efficiency for insulating glass units, even with complex geometries such as 4-sided steps or shapes. Each individual insulating glass unit is individually accessible, so that both targeted removal for loading the shipping rack and independent inspection are possible without difficulty. With a storage capacity of over 300 large-format façade units, the system offers the maximum in flexibility and supports seamless shipping logistics – without overlaps between inspection and loading processes.
What advantages does the system offer?
Modular assembly
The composition of the heights, lengths and numbers of slots can be individually configured according to customer requirements.
High-end solution of a fully automatic buffer system for sealed units
The sorting system is fully automatic, which ensures the highest quality.
