Logistic systems
With the IG-Sort Cure, up to two robot systems perform the unloading of insulating glass units at the sealing outlet, as well as the loading of glass storage racks positioned on a rotating station that can be loaded on both sides. These robot systems and a bidirectional insulating glass buffer enable the decoupling of customer-specific batches by performing tempering, sorting and destacking in the required sequence.
The IG-Sort Cure can deliver a crucial function: The secondary sealing material of the still wet unit dries in the bidirectional buffer or tempering of the thermoplastic spacers takes place, which means that these units can be placed on the shipping racks without any loss of quality. This in turn enables highly efficient planning of insulating glass production, because the decoupling of customer-specific batches is supported.
