Insulating glass line for flexible spacers
Longer, heavier, more innovative - the benchmark for plus sizes. This line sets new standards in insulating glass production of extreme glass sizes and with our decades of experience, this line has been conceived from scratch. From the quality control section to the SuperSpacer applicator through to the redesigned assembly and gas-filling press and sealing machine.
The glass sheets are thoroughly cleaned and then dried in the washing machine. A scanner then checks the quality of the sheet and highlights any defects or impurities on the sheet. The glass lites sheets are inspected at the downstream frame mounting station, and the spacer frame is set manually on the glass. In this case, an integrated assembly aid supports the attachment of the spacer.
Downstream of the frame mounting station is the VSA for the application of a flexible spacer. After application of the spacer, the gas filling press takes care of the assembly, the gas filling process and the pressing of the insulating glass units. At the end of the line, sealing ensures the necessary stability and, above all, perfect corners.
This insulating glass line is the perfect choice for manufacturers of large façade elements. The possibility of the high running metre load and the length of 12 m in conjunction with the technology of the flexible spacer system mean that there are no limits here.
The washing machine with up to eight brushes and two hot water zones ensures perfect washing results. Damage and scratches in the glass can be detected and rectified in the shortest possible time thanks to the optimum lighting at the inspection station and the quality scanner. For large formats, it is recommended with the frame mounting station to use a mounting aid, which positions the frame at the upper edge. With the VSA, the flexible spacer is automatically applied. The assembly and gas filling press not only reduces gas losses but also the cycle times.
