Circular Economy
The LiSEC GSA-CL system breaks down laminated glass remnants that arise during laminated glass cutting and transports them into a compact waste glass container, which can be easily emptied with a forklift. This enables a virtually uninterrupted production process.
The system consists of a high-strength and particularly durable wavebelt conveyor made of metal, a guillotine crushing unit and a discharge unit. The glass remnants fall onto the flat conveyor, are transported to the guillotine crushing unit and are broken down there into 200 – 300 mm pieces with little noise and dust.
The broken down laminated glass remnants fall from the breakout station onto a conveyor belt below. A high-strength metal conveyor belt transports the glass shards to a slow-cutting guillotine knife, which breaks down the shards with little noise and almost no dust. The broken down shards are transported to a collection container with level monitoring, which is located in a sound-insulated housing and prevents the surrounding system components from being contaminated by glass dust.
The system is ideal for companies that have laminated glass waste up to 1010.6 (2 sheets of 10 mm thickness each) and a maximum width of up to 300 mm. The processable length corresponds to the maximum glass length on the laminated glass cutting table.
The waste glass containers can be easily replaced or emptied. This ensures a smooth work procedure. Automated disposal of glass waste reduces manual effort, allowing employees to focus on more important tasks and reducing labour costs. In addition, smaller pieces of glass require less storage space, allowing better use of production space. The automated system also increases safety as less manual handling of glass remnants is required.
Compact solution for glass waste
Automatic cullet disposal can save space in production by reducing the number and length of cullet containers.
Quiet and protected from dust
The cutting and breaking of glass waste in the automatic cullet disposal system is carried out in an encapsulated system. Integrated dust and noise protection.
Continuous production
Thanks to a centralised, compact cullet container, automatic cullet disposal can virtually eliminate production interruptions.
