Sealing
The LiSEC VFL-1F is a system for sealing insulating glass units with two-component sealants. The perfected build-up of this system guarantees a high degree of process reliability and top corner quality - even for units with a high weight.
The VFL-1F consists of an infeed section, a vertical sealing bar and an outlet section. Glass transport is realised by means of a "full support belt system". This innovative toothed belt drive cleans the support jaws with every pass, whilst the support jaws can be changed without difficulty. From the outlet zone, an additional horizontal roller beam with a defined distance to the back wall guides the unit at the upper edge.
Unit thickness and build-up are measured in the separate upstream measuring section or via an ERP system and are therefore known at the in-feed into the sealing machine. The unit length measurement takes place during in-feed transport. The material is applied with the help of a rotatable application head, which realises the frame inset measurement and detects this automatically. Automatic corner correction is subsequently carried out and ensures rapid and high-quality sealing results.
The innovative and fully automatic sealing machine guarantees top quality sealing of the insulating glass unit. Thanks to the extremely stable design, the system can also handle heavy façade elements without difficulty. The use of numerous high-quality components facilitates maximum system availability and reduces operating and maintenance costs. As such, the VFL-1F is an asset for every insulating glass manufacturer.
The VFL-1F is ideally suited for the production of double, triple and quadruple units. The depth scanner on the applicator head delivers an exact material quantity calculation.
The replaceable support jaws on the conveyor belt keep maintenance costs to a minimum. Cleaning the belt is also much easier than cleaning conventional chain transport systems.
It is possible to ensure the rapid production of large insulating glass units thanks to uninterrupted material dosing. The maximum configuration is capable of processing up to three different sealants, meaning that the VFL-1F satisfies every requirement for the production of façade units.
Uncomplicated mechanical build-up, which results in very high process reliability
Thanks to the straightforward and improved build-up of the fully automatic system for sealing insulating glass units, frequent process failures are a thing of the past.
Homogeneous corner compaction performed by a roller system
The roller system used with the VFL-1F ensures the homogeneous course of the unit corners.
Precision dosing system with quantity and speed control
The quantity and speed are controlled fully automatically by an innovative precision dosing system. This facilitates high-quality sealing of the units.
