True Shape Optimizer (TSO) is an extension to GPS.prod for intelligent shape optimisation. The system nests identical and different shapes fully automatically within common rectangles, significantly reduces wastage and increases glass yield by up to 50%. Additional help and relief cuts make it easier to break out the shapes and improve material efficiency.

True Shape Optimizer is integrated as an optional extension to GPS.prod and consists of several components:

How does True Shape Optimizer work?

The system then selects the best variant and automatically adds help and relief cuts for easy break-out of the glass shapes. This allows remnant areas to be used more efficiently and significantly reduces wastage.
