Laminated Glass Cutting
With the LiSEC VB-A, it is possible to cut laminated glass sheets as well as to execute straight and shape cuts in case of float glass. Moreover, the arrangement of both machine sections and the compact design save space. An integrated automatic rotating and aligning system reduces operator intervention and increases productivity.
The VB-A from LiSEC is used for the automatic cutting of laminated glass up to the maximum size with automatic positioning and rotating.
The glass sheets are automatically and precisely positioned in the VB-A cutting system, sheet by sheet.
The cutting process is fast and accurate. Optional PVB interlayer heating is carried out efficiently using LiSEC’s patented SIR heating technology, while the cutting is performed using the proven blade cutting method.
A positioning aid for straight cuts in special shapes is included as standard. In addition, automatic scoring of special shapes with rounded contours is available as an option, providing greater flexibility for a wide range of applications.

High Output
The VB‑A boosts productivity through continuous operation without any need for operator intervention. This ensures a smooth, uninterrupted production flow with maximum efficiency and throughput. With SIR heating and optional sequential Z scoring, up to four jumbo stock sheets can be processed simultaneously, depending on the cutting pattern.
