Sorting Stationary
The LiSEC stationary buffer and sorting system impresses with its compact construction, whilst offering significantly greater storage capacity. In particular for glass sheets up to a height of ≤ 1,300 mm, the innovative double-deck design delivers significant added value and clearly stands out in the market.
The two-storey design makes optimum use of the available space without taking up any additional capacity in the hall. It is ideal for operations with limited space or high performance requirements.
The double-deck storage system is designed as a space-saving, vertically extended storage system with two levels, offering greater capacity whilst occupying the same floor space.
The double-deck system operates on the basis of the automated interaction between transport mechanisms and intelligent software, enabling the efficient storage, sorting and retrieval of glass sheets.
Glass sheets can be pre-sorted and stored intermediately in the automatic sorting magazine. Loading and unloading is performed via a separately controlled transport beam in combination with a glass transport shuttle. The transport roller bar moves on guide rails located below the magazine unit, is positioned exactly under the active storage slot, tilts the drive rollers towards the transport level and starts to transport the sheet.
The double-deck storage system is suitable for all companies with several processing steps between glass cutting and delivery, who wish to achieve a more continuous operation of the downstream systems through pre-sorting, such as for insulating glass manufacturers, glass processors, etc.
The automatic sorting system separates the cutting sequence from the production sequence. This ensures the continuous operation of the downstream system.
As such, double-deck technology makes a significant contribution to sustainable and cost-effective production:
• Reduced space requirements thanks to optimal use of space
• Less manual cleaning work thanks to a sophisticated system design
• The ability to retrofit existing stations to a double-deck system – for future-proof investments
This not only improves process stability, but also leads to a sustainable reduction in resource consumption
Fully automatic sorting magazine
The automatic pre-sorting and temporary storage of the glass sheets enhances the efficiency and consistency of the production flow.
Shuttle with lift function
The integrated shuttle can transport glass sheets directly to the second storage level, thereby enabling optimal use of the double-deck system.
Modular magazine structure
Thanks to the combination of up to six sorting magazines in a single guidance system, the system can be flexibly adapted to different requirements.
