Sorting Stationary
The SHL transport shuttle is used to feed insulating glass lines and processing lines or storage systems with glass sheets, as with the LiSEC ASM. It automatically collects glass sheets of any size and in any order from the cutting lines. In addition, the SHL features an integrated lifting function for use with double-deck storage systems. This enables flexible and efficient loading and unloading of the various storage levels.
The high-performance roller guide system employed, together with the use of a helical rack and pinion system, ensures minimal running resistance and maximum stability. This enables acceleration of up to 3 m/s² and transport speeds of up to 5 m/s (300 m/min). Furthermore, the transport back wall is tilted, whereby contactless transfer of the sheets is possible inside the shuttle. This reduces the cycle time.
The layout is based on a robust, highly dynamic design with integrated lifting and transport technology.
The system uses a fast, flexible and gentle transport process to ensure the seamless interconnection of production processes.
The double-deck shuttle is suitable for all companies with several processing steps between glass cutting and delivery, who wish to achieve a more continuous operation of the downstream systems through pre-sorting, such as for insulating glass manufacturers, glass processors, etc.
The system impresses with its exceptionally high process speed, featuring accelerations of up to 3 m/s² and transport speeds of up to 5 m/s, which enables very short cycle times. At the same time, it ensures unbeatable flexibility, as glass sheets of different sizes can be handled and processed fully automatically in any sequence.
Another advantage is the efficient operation of double-deck systems thanks to the integrated lifting function. This enables targeted and flexible loading and unloading of the various storage levels. Furthermore, the titled back transport wall ensures contact-free transfer within the shuttle. This protects the glass surfaces and ensures quality.
The roller guide system used, together with the helical rack and pinion system, ensures low running resistance and high stability, thereby guaranteeing long-lasting and reliable operation. The result is a high-performance shuttle system that offers the perfect combination of speed, flexibility and gentle handling.

Shuttle with lift function
The integrated shuttle allows glass sheets to be transported directly to the second storage level, thereby making optimum use of the double-deck system.
Optimally suited for coated sheets
The glass sheets do not come into contact with anything during transport, which means the coating is unaffected.
Optimised cycle time
Glass sheets are transported to the end of the shuttle transport carriage while moving and are adjusted to the required angle of the downstream station (2 to 90 degrees).
Easy to maintain
The tilting shuttle offers the advantage of quick and easy maintenance thanks to its automatic lubrication system, low-maintenance components and easily replaceable wear parts.
