Production Planning
GPS.scancam is an extension of GPS.cadcam for the fast digitalisation of templates. Photographed contours are automatically corrected for distortion, measured and provided as a CAD-compatible DXF file. This allows physical templates to be processed efficiently into digital drawings for cutting, processing and CAD systems.
GPS.scancam consists of several functional areas that together enable the workflow from template to CAD drawing:
GPS.scancam is particularly suitable for:
GPS.scancam is ideal for users who want to convert physical templates into digital CAD data quickly and precisely without time-consuming tracing.
GPS.scancam significantly reduces the effort involved in creating CAD drawings by digitalising physical templates directly from photographs. Perspective distortions are corrected automatically, producing precise contours that can be used immediately for further processing. Mobile data capture on site, intuitive operation and standardised DXF export enable shapes to be integrated into the digital production process faster and more easily, with a lower risk of errors.
Mobile contour capture on site
Templates can be photographed directly on the construction site or at the customer's premises and then processed digitally. This eliminates time-consuming manual measurement and tracing.
Automatic image and perspective correction
GPS.scancam automatically corrects camera-induced distortion and perspective errors. This produces precise, dimensionally accurate CAD contours from simple digital photos.
Direct further processing via DXF
The generated contours are exported as DXF files and can be transferred immediately to GPS.cadcam or other CAD, cutting and processing systems. This ensures a seamless digital workflow.
