The LiSEC thin glass insulating glass line enables the fully automated processing of thin glass as an intermediate pane in triple insulating glass units. Specially adapted process steps ensure safe handling, precise positioning, and consistently high product quality. The solution is particularly suitable for energy-efficient insulating glass units with reduced weight.
The solution is based on an adapted LiSEC insulating glass line. It includes a washing machine with a gentle washing and drying process, manual or automated spacer application, and a gas filling press for the production of insulating glass with a four-sided step. The fully automatic sealing system is equipped with a special scanning system and application nozzle to seal the triple insulating glass unit in a single pass.
All process steps are software-configured to meet the specific requirements of thin glass.
The line processes thin glass from 1 mm thickness as the intermediate pane in triple insulating glass units. Specially adapted transport, positioning, and assembly systems enable gentle handling of the thin panes. During the assembly process, the intermediate pane is positioned with high precision and completely embedded in the edge seal.
