Glass Loading System
LiSEC crane loading offers maximum flexibility for automatic glass loading and is particularly suitable for companies with a wide variety of glass types. One or more glass cutting lines are supplied continuously and according to demand with glass sheets. Automatic travel path optimisation and intelligent use of idle times for restacking processes ensure high productivity and efficient material flows. The flexible combination of glass storage racks and mobile compartment rack systems allows the storage concept to be adapted optimally to specific requirements.
The automatic crane loading system consists of:
The glass sheets are stored in glass storage racks (LBK) and/or mobile compartment rack storage systems (LBR). The crane system (PKL) removes the requested glass sheet fully automatically from the glass storage system and transports it to the glass loading table (ATL) by means of a tiltable double suction bridge (SBL) or a FlyOver suction bridge (SBH). From the glass loading table, the glass sheet is fed automatically to the downstream cutting process.
The crane loading system supplies one or more cutting lines fully automatically with the required glass sheets. Following a request from the cutting optimisation system, the crane system removes the corresponding glass sheet from the glass storage system and transports it to the glass loading table. Automatic travel path optimisation minimises transport distances, while idle times are used for restacking processes. This ensures short cycle times, high system availability and efficient material flow.
Crane loading is particularly suitable for companies with a wide variety of glass types, a high degree of automation and a high storage capacity requirement.
Crane loading enables fully automatic supply of cutting lines even with a wide variety of glass types and high storage capacities. Thanks to flexible storage concepts with glass storage racks and mobile compartment rack storage systems, the system can be adapted optimally to individual requirements. Intelligent control of the crane movements ensures short transport distances, high system availability and efficient use of the available storage capacities. This optimises material flows and increases the cost-effectiveness of production.
Automatic glass loading system with SBL suction bridge
The automatically tiltable SBL suction bridge is equipped with vacuum suction cups on both sides. For maximum flexibility in the glass storage system, the system can optionally be designed to rotate.
Automatic glass loading system with SBH FlyOver suction bridge
The FlyOver suction bridge automatically selects the shortest route and can also move diagonally over the glass storage system during empty travel. This reduces cycle times by an average of 10%.
